In response to this imperative, the National Workshop on "Educating Ethical Technologists: Humanistic Perspectives in the AI Era" aligns with the goals of the Mozilla Responsible Computing Challenge. Mozilla RCC underscores the significance of this consideration, emphasising that those creating new technologies wield tremendous power. These technologies influence everything around us. While many of these technologies have facilitated new forms of connection and creativity, the benefits and harms of these technologies have not been distributed equally.
